Bagel-Themed Public Art Is Now on View at The Street in Chestnut Hill

ANNOUNCES NEW OWNERSHIP
Great Barrington, MA – Marvin and Judy Lieberman announced that as of Friday, November 14, 2014, long-time manager Bob Climo and his wife Karen, have purchased The Great Barrington Bagel Company located at 777 Main Street, Great Barrington, Massachusetts.
The Liebermans opened the business in 1996 and they will remain working on a part-time basis as consultants.“We are excited to be turning over the reins to Bob and Karen. Bob has worked tirelessly at the bagel store for the last eight years and we are pleased to be selling the business to a member of our GB Bagel family. It is hard to express in words what this business and the relationships we have created have meant to Judy and to me over the last 18 plus years”, said Marvin Lieberman.

The Great Barrington Bagel Company is a bagel institution in the Berkshires. The Climo’s will continue to run the business as a bagel eatery and delicatessen serving bagels, sandwiches, soups, salads, fish and traditional fare as well as providing event catering. “We are honored to be the new owners of the Great Barrington Bagel Company. We look forward to serving our customers with the same level of attention to detail that they have come to expect and to providing a gathering place for the community”, stated Bob Climo.
